Friday Live Concert SeriesEnriching music performance in Jackson Hole is a part and parcel of the JHME mission. The FridayLive concert series is organized in part to address our mission and as a benefit of membership. Most live popular music performances are out of the reach of most local music students due to timing and venue. JHME chose to address this issue with our popular FridayLive all ages concert series. This program was created in part to provide an opportunity for middle and high school students and their families to hear professional popular music at a time and place that is appropriate for families and developing musicians.
The FridayLive concerts have featured many local and regionally known artists including: Anne & Pete Sibley, Brainiac, Chanman Roots Band, Dwarf Planet, Fat Albert, The Jason Fritz Jazz Ensemble, Medicine Tree Music (Dan Thomasma & Terry Yazzolino), Jackson Hole Brass Quintet, and Pam Drews Phillips, to name just a few. Check the JHME calendar frequently as the venues and artists are subject to change. |

The concerts are also a benefit of membership as the FridayLive concerts are all free of charge to JHME members. Presented on Friday afternoons after school and work, the concerts have attracted a broad community following. In addition to music aficionados, it is not unusual to see a number of preschool age children dancing and carrying on while senior citizens dance or chat with their friends.
